Cheap caravan holidays in Cornwall are perfect if you want to take the kids on a break this summer but you’re on a budget. You don’t need to go abroad to experience great beaches and relaxing scenery, you just need to know where to look. The Cornish coast is full of white sandy beaches and plenty of coastal walks and water sports for the more adventurous among us. Here are two great caravan parks for you to consider this summer.

1. Perran Sands Holiday Park

This 4-star modern holiday park is owned by Haven holidays. Located between Perranporth and Newquay, this resort has everything from high sand dunes to Atlantic surf.

Perran Sands has its own restaurants, swimming pools and bars so you won’t have to travel far to eat or be entertained in the evenings.

As with most Haven holiday parks this resort is family friendly with plenty of activities to keep the kids entertained including surfing lessons and even fencing.

The caravans themselves are a home away from home with televisions, DVD players and a fully equipped kitchen; unlike most parks you will need to bring your own bed linen though.

2. Mena Caravan & Camping Park

Situated atop a hill with 15 acres of open space this caravan and campsite is perfect if you have your own caravan. Its location in central Cornwall makes it the perfect base to explore all of the attractions that Cornwall has to offer. The Eden Project is just two miles away and it’s just a 25-minute drive to the surfing beaches of Newquay.

Cyclists can take advantage of the nearby Camel Trail which runs from Padstow up to Bodmin moor and keen fishermen will be able to relax by the site’s small fishing lake.

While there are no dining options onsite the nearby Lanivet village has a cosy pub and a popular fish and chip shop. A ten-minute drive will find you in St Austell where you can shop at the 24hr supermarket.

3. Hendra Holiday Park

If you’d prefer to be closer to the popular Newquay beaches then Hendra holiday park is well worth a closer look. This park has fully equipped holiday homes and a tent and touring caravan section with high quality shower blocks making it perfect whether you own your own van or not.

Your kids will love the children’s club and entertainment options which includes football matches, pitch and putt and talent competitions.

You can relax as a family in the outdoor pool, or have fun in the indoor pool which boasts three water flumes.

Whether you are looking for the family entertainment offered by the Haven holiday parks, or the peace and quiet of a smaller caravan and campsite you’ll find all the latest offers for cheap caravan holidays in Cornwall at http://www.findcheapcaravanholidays.co.uk
